The newly opened northern wing of Science Park, located at the base of Chai Mountain, welcomes visitors into what resembles a sprawling forest. The park's official opening has unveiled a new destination for outdoor enthusiasts in the heart of Guangming District.

A highlight of the park is the challenging hiking trail that starts on the right side of the entrance, leading adventurers to the Science Summit. The staircase, which is primarily stone, features a notable incline, encouraging climbers to pace themselves and take breaks along the way.

After ascending 320 stone steps, visitors can reach the Science Summit, the highest point in the northern wing, which stands out from afar like a "flying saucer" and has quickly become a popular attraction. The summit boasts an open-air design, offering unobstructed views from the highest observation deck in the park. Its circular walkway, measuring 156.1 meters in circumference, allows visitors to enjoy a stunning 360-degree panorama of Guangming District, including the serene Guangming Lake and the distinctive red-brick buildings of the Sun Yat-sen University Shenzhen Campus.

Some sections of the walkway feature mirrored glass, reflecting the picturesque sky. This mirrored effect captures the beauty of the surroundings while serving as a perfect backdrop for photos. For those needing to recharge after their climb, a mountaintop café serves refreshments, including water and coffee, alongside seating for visitors to relax and take in the breathtaking scenery. The park also offers areas for jogging, cycling, or simply enjoying leisurely strolls at the mountain's base.

Nature enthusiasts can appreciate the preserved native lychee groves or take a rest on cloud-shaped seating beneath the trees. Covering roughly 9,600 square meters, an expansive lawn inside the park is ideal for picnicking, kite-flying, or spending a day immersed in nature.

Inspired by elements such as water, wood, mist, sound, hills, and the moon, the park features six "nature theaters," starting with the mist forest theater that visitors encounter upon entering. Here, a mist simulation device creates a natural weather effect, refreshing visitors as they pass through.

Getting to Science Park is convenient; visitors can take Metro Line 6 and stop at either Guangming Station or Guangming Science Park Station, after which a short walk of approximately 700 to 900 meters is needed.

With its stunning views and diverse recreational offerings, the northern wing of Science Park is set to become a must-visit destination for both locals and tourists in Shenzhen.
