The Guangming Culture and Art Center recently accepted the Luban Award trophy, Bao'an Daily reported.
This esteemed accolade, recognizing national quality engineering excellence, was presented by the China Construction Industry Association.
The Luban Award stands as the pinnacle of construction quality acknowledgment in China, often referred to as the "Oscars in the Chinese construction field." Financed by the Guangming District Government and executed by Huaguang Company, a subsidiary of Overseas Chinese Town Group, this project stands out for its outstanding dedication to excellence.
The project emerges as the sole endeavor from Overseas Chinese Town Group to secure the prestigious award.
With a design ethos blending mountainous landscapes, water features, and rural aesthetics, this project draws inspiration from the picturesque surroundings of Guangming District. Its architectural blueprint, shaped in a distinctive "回" formation, encircles diverse functional zones through expansive passageways, crafting a serene "mountain and water courtyard" ambiance that immerses visitors in a harmonious natural setting.
Right from the project's inception, the Guangming Culture and Art Center prioritized operational efficiency and maintenance needs. Boasting 32 intelligent systems, the venue achieves an impressive 66.14% reduction in annual heating and air conditioning energy consumption. By incorporating ice storage air conditioning mechanisms, the project further slashes total annual energy usage by 11.54%, leading to an annual operational cost saving surpassing 1.6 million yuan.
Moreover, Huaguang Company, renowned for its construction prowess, has left an indelible mark on Guangming District with impactful undertakings like Hongqiao Park and Dadingling Greenway. These endeavors have garnered widespread acclaim, standing as beloved architectural landmarks within the district.
