The Yuezaiting Art Station was officially inaugurated at Hongqiao Park in Guangming District on May 19. This newly unveiled art station, designed in Lingnan-garden style, welcomes visitors around the clock.

The Yuezaiting project, spanning 3,678 square meters of land with a total built-up area of 1,520 square meters, incorporates various artistic spaces, a coffee and tea area, a leisure lounge, and simple station services within the charming litchi hillside setting. Positioned amidst garden paths and lake views against a mountainous backdrop, visitors can relish the panoramic expanse of the 4-kilometer Red Bridge and immerse themselves in Hongqiao Park's scenic beauty.

Designed by Liu Heng and his team at NODE Architecture & Urbanism, the concept mirrors Lingnan garden corridors, seamlessly integrating differing elevations and landscape flow techniques to craft a captivating multi-dimensional garden experience. The structure acts as a walkway, structure, and garden, offering diverse perspectives and immersive encounters with nature.

At the inauguration seminar, Liu shared the innovative design philosophy behind Yuezaiting. Zhu Rongyuan, deputy chief planner of the China Urban Planning and Design Institute, suggested incorporating existing exhibition spaces into a Wall Art Gallery. This suggestion would feature curated works by renowned artists, emphasizing quality with only a few exhibitions annually.

The art station introduces its signature "Mountain Top No.1" coffee brand. Guests can delight in the splendid Hongqiao views while relishing the expertly brewed Yunnan mountain coffee — a bespoke experience tailored for a moment of serene enjoyment.
