On June 17, 2023, Guangming District launched a significant project, the Industrial Community of Smart Sensors in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA), sparking considerable interest. On Jan. 9, 2024, the groundbreaking ceremony for the initial set of supporting projects took place.

Situated centrally in the western zone of Guangming District with excellent transportation access, this community features varied, large-scale projects, boasting a thriving ecosystem. It aims to establish a comprehensive intelligent manufacturing and research space.

The first set of supporting projects includes industrial and residential zones, urban roads, and educational amenities. Noteworthy aspects consist of the expansive Minghu Smart Valley Project, the iconic Runyayuan building, and the 2,520-school-seat capacity of Tangwei First School.

Structured with a "three horizontal and three vertical" layout for efficient traffic flow, the initial phase of municipal roads plays a pivotal role in transportation. The park layout is comprehensive, and the Maozhou River Greenway promises an ideal living environment for future inhabitants.
