Rice noodle rolls are served as a light salad-like dish in Vietnam. They are individually made from rice sheets with a filling of mince pork, agarics, yam beans, sliced onions and carrots. A dipping sauce consisting of rice vinegar, garlic and chili is often served on the side.
The rice sheet is much thinner than that of Cantonese rice noodle rolls, which is made by steaming rice batter on a cloth that is stretched over a pot of boiling water.
